Cody Hauser

Cody Hauser, 19, of Cartersville, passed away on, Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Born on January 30, 2003, in Landstuhl, Germany, he was the son of Barry and Kimberley Hauser. He is preceded in death by his Grandma.

Survivors include his parents Barry and Kimberley Hauser; grandad Barry; siblings Jacob, Savannah, and Trey; and his fiancée Emily. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and too many friends to name, many of which he considered brothers.

Cody cannot be summed up in a few words, his life was too big to put down in a paragraph. Some things that can be said about him, though, is that he was kind and pure, he was light. He was strong, not just physically but, his heart, his work ethic, his drive, his motivation all radiated strength. He was a man of honor and stood up for people who needed a helping hand. Everyone knew that you didn't pick on people when he was around, he absolutely would not stand for any bullying. You knew that a weaker person was under his protection. Cody was a person who everyone could count on to be honest with you and would push you in the right direction if you started down the wrong path.

The Hauser family wants everyone to live, do not wait. There might not be an opportunity tomorrow. Things that Cody did, that he would want you to do are:
Drive down a dirt road for fun
Dance with someone you love
Plant a yellow rose
Watch a cheesy 80s car movie
Make cookies for someone
Help someone just because you can

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
