Cola Jones

Ms. Cola Mae Brennan Jones, 83, of Cartersville passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her residence.

Born on July 10, 1936 in Nassau, Bahamas she was the daughter of the late Edgar Brennan and the late Rudell Fowler Brennan.

Ms. Jones was employed as an accountant until her retirement and later kept busy as an active member of The Bartow Golden Tones. She enjoyed singing at nursing homes and assisted living centers; and celebrating special occasions such as friend's birthdays and holidays. Ms. Jones attended The Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her children, Donna Jones, Lloyd Mervin Jones, Jr., Keith Jones, Elsa Jones Powell, Scott Bowe, and Dr. Seni Tienabeso; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Charlie Gilliland officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
