Conner I

Mr. Conner Dilbeck I, age 65 o f Rome, GA, died Monday, April 20, 2009, in a Rome hospital.



Mr. Dilbeck was born in Etowah County, AL on January 5, 1944, the son of Clara Arlice Drake of Rome and the late Conner Douglas Dilbeck. He was a resident of Rome for the last eight years. Mr. Dilbeck was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Northrop Aircraft in CA. He was a well known jeweler and gemologist. Mr. Dilbeck was a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America. Mr. Dilbeck was very friendly and no one was a stranger to him.



In addition to his mother Mr. Dilbeck is survived by two sons, Conner Dilbeck II and John Bailey Dilbeck III both of Santa Monica, CA; and his little buddy, Franky.



Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Clonts officiating.



The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.
