Consuleo Echegoyen

Consuelo F. Echegoyen, age 85, of Euharlee, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Heartland Hospice House. Born in Havana, Cuba on July 10, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Jose Fernandez and Consuelo Quintero. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luis Echegoyen; her sister, Chachi Valiente; her brother, Jose Fernandez, Jr.



Survivors include her daughter, Regina Stecker of Euharlee; her sons and daughters-in-law, Jorge Luis and Mirta Echegoyen of San Juan, Puerto Rica; Luis Alberto and Lourdes Echegoyen of Washington, D.C.; her sisters, Gladys Portela of Miami; Carmen Rodriguez of Roswell; Teresita Delgado of Milledgeville; and Lourdes Bencome of Cuba; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.



Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Father Daniel Stack officiating. Burial will follow.

The family will receive friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
