Cynthia Murry

Cynthia Ann Murry, age 68, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.

Cynthia was born in Rome, Georgia, on August 6, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Leslie & Annie Barton. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Randy Murry.

She is survived by her two children, Blake Murry (Sheri) and Dana Baxter (Britt); her grandchildren, Gavin Baxter, Maddison Baxter, Jade Longstreet, Davey Crump, Grace Hanyok, and Elizabeth Hanyok; and her brother, Craig Barton (Cathy); and her sisters, Pam Craven (Bryan), Cindy Brooks, and Judy Warner.

Cynthia had a talent for designing floral arrangements and loved cooking. She had an extensive collection of cookbooks that she would reference often. She always made sure that every member of her family always felt loved. Many people have expressed that she was the sweetest person they'd ever known, and she will be missed sorely.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Cartersville, Georgia. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023, the evening before the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Beaver, Casey Beaver, Blake Murry, Gavin Baxter, Craig Barton, and Davey Crump.
