Daisy Crawley

Mrs. Daisy Ruth Crawley, 70, of Cartersville, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 4, 1946 in Britton, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Lewis Warren and Maxine Buxton Warren Stevens.

Mrs. Crawley was a member of Raccoon Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved her family dearly, loved babies, enjoyed taking care of the elderly, enjoyed cooking, painting portraits, taking care of her flowers and dancing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Keith Warren, Linda Warren and Ray Stevens.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Crawley; her children, Jimmy Crawley, Tina Crawley McCurley (Robert) and Sherilen "Sissy" Crawley Thomas (Brian); her grandchildren, Lauren Thomas, Austin Crawley, Kamden Jordan, Taylor Crawley, Noah Jordan, Mary McCurley and Jonah Jordan; her siblings, Henry Warren (Diane), Russell Warren (Peggy), Mary Warren Lathery (Donald), Terry Warren (Kay), Faye Steven Baswell (Alan), Kaye Stevens and Billy Stevens (Christy); along with 60 plus nieces, nephews and extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins in Texas and New Mexico.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend James Black and Mitzi Oates officiating. An entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
