Daniel "Danny" Lewis

Daniel "Danny" Keith Lewis, 63, of Cartersville died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Redmond Regional Hospital. A native of Bartow County, born April 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Hurby Lewis and Annice Earwood.

Danny enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, helping others and most of all spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Lewis; his brothers, Richard, Emmett and Larry Lewis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Shelia Roberson Lewis of Cartersville; his daughters, Sheila Gore of Carrollton and Danyel Davidson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Brittany Rogers of Adairsville, Jessica Gore of Carrollton, Kirsten Davidson of Chattanooga and Andrew Gore of Carrollton; his great-grandchildren, Audrey and Kellan Rogers of Adairsville; his siblings, Kathy Chappell of Taylorsville, Edith Parivechio of Dallas and Elton Lewis of Fairmount.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Rob Miller and The Reverend Sammy Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Taylorsville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, but for those who choose, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Pkwy, Suite #1, Marietta, Georgia 30067.
Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Allen, Landen Woods, Austin Woods, Stuart Smith and Alex Smart.
