Daniel Lee Moss, 69, of Rydal passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024.
Born on March 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Troy Lee Moss and the late Louise Ray Moss. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Mitchell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Elaine Moss; son, Chris Moss; daughter, Danielle Spires (Justin); sister, Delores Moore (Dennis); brother, Douglas Moss (Marsha); stepmother, Syble Moss; stepsisters, Wanda Callahan and Michelle Callahan; stepbrother, Miles Callahan (Susie); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel loved coon hunting and watching westerns. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. Most of all, Daniel cherished spending time with his family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Pleasant Olive Baptist Church with Reverend Sanford Fountain and Reverend Darryl Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Biddy, Micheal Mitchell, Shay Mitchell, Brandon Moore, Jared Moss, and Esau Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Lanning and Steve Stewart.
