Danny Rae Babb, 40, of Cartersville passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Born June 13, 1969 in East Point he was the son of Mary Jo Floyd Babb and the late Carlton W. Babb. He was also preceded in death by his twin daughters, Melissa Marie and Crystal Renee Babb.
Danny was employed as a heavy equipment operator with SCS Engineers. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, and watching NASCAR. Danny attended Shiloh Hills Baptist Church, and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother; his wife of twenty years, Annette Bailey Babb; children, Stephanie Babb, Robin Burns, Ryan Burns, and Michael Burns; sister, Jenna Fricks of Kingston; brother, Mike Babb of Kingston; grandchildren, A.J. Thompson, Benjamin Thompson, and Whitney Thompson; his aunts and uncles, Aaron Babb of Eastman, Betty Jean Laidler of Hawkinsville, Annie Mae Darsey of Hawkinsville, Willie Floyd of Stockbridge, Minnie Braddy of Grey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 29, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville with Rev. John Waters officiating. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Magnolia Cemetery in Blountstown, Florida.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m., Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
