David Posey

David "Scott" Posey, 29, of Cartersville, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Northside Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born April 20, 1983 in Cobb County and was the son of Donna Gossett Westbrook and David H. Posey.
He was of the Baptist Faith and was a loving husband. He was a very strong man and a fighter. Scott was an avid sports fan and loved music. He was employed by Holt's Pharmacy for about ten years.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica Massey Posey of Cartersville; his mother, Donna Westbrook of Cartersville; his father, David H. Posey of Emerson; his sisters, Jaime Mauk of White and Deanna Posey of Cartersville; his brother, Ethan Posey of Cartersville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a special dog, Cheney.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Ronnie Cline officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday and Saturday.
