David Ramsey

December 24, 1962 — October 8, 2024

David Brian Ramsey, 61 of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on October 8, 2024 at Cartersville Medical Center. He was born on December 24, 1962 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late James Everett Ramsey and the late Jo Ann Stout Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Leffew; brother Barry Ramsey; and grandmother Eva Freeze.

David loved to laugh and joke with his family. He was always cracking jokes and teasing his wife and daughters. He was a former competitive roller skater and he enjoyed supporting his favorite baseball team, The Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Michelle Ramsey; daughters Ashley Ramsey Leonhardi (Robbie) and Jessica Ramsey (Brad); sister Lisa Lewis (Leroy); five grandchildren; and two nieces and one nephew.

The family is hosting a memorial service at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Cartersville, Georgia.
