David Wilson

Mr. David Leon Wilson, 44, of Kennesaw, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at his residence. Born January 25, 1969 in Bartow County, he was the son of Brenda Dawkins Anderson and the late Dennis Wilson. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparent, Syble Lyons; his maternal grandparents, J.C. and Ina Dawkins; his uncle James Lee "Bud" Dawkins.
David was a member of New Cannan Baptist Church and was employed by Brentag. His passion was riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed playing darts, line dancing, and making people laugh.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Lyn Wilson of Kennesaw; his mother and step-dad, Brenda and Charles Anderson of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Devin Wilson, Kaitlyn Wilson and Alexis "Lexi" Ashworth; his sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Greg Bennett of Cartersville; his niece and nephew, Katie Ruth Bennett and Colin Bennett; his special friend and caregiver, Angie Segars; and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Larry Towe and Reverend Mike Boatfield officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday for two hours prior to the service.
