Mr. Davy Lee Crocker, 56, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at his residence.
Born April 30, 1957 in Cartersville, he was a son of the late Clyde B. Crocker and Joyce Mullinax Crocker. Davy was a member of Creekside Fellowship Church and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed CB radios. He was known as "Coon Dog" to all of his CB friends. Davy was a loving family man with a heart of gold who will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Wilson and her husband Lance of Taylorsville; son, Kevin Myrick and his wife Hillary of Cartersville; grandchildren, Tanner Wilson, Peyton Mathis, and Ella-Mae Myrick; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Mike Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
