Mrs. Deborah Joan Hughes, 62, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Lorain, Ohio on October 7, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Milford Brock and Betty Jane Gamble Brock.
Mrs. Hughes was a helpful person and enjoyed crocheting hats, caps and scarves for children's hospital cancer patients. She never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Brock and a brother, Gerald Brock.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William Hughes of Cartersville; her daughter, Lisa Hughes of Cartersville; her siblings, Sheila Brock, Michael and Greg Brock all of Los Angeles, California, and Robert Brock of Beaumont, California.
