Deidre Kay

Deidre Kay, 43, of Taylorsville passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born in Rome on September 30, 1976 she was the daughter of Charles Darrell Kay and the late Terri Ellen Coffia Kay. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Adriana Wilson, and Zemi Wilson.

Deidre was an employee of Beauflor and an avid Atlanta Falcon fan. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She was a free spirit who never met a stranger.

Survivors include her daughters, Kristen Kay, Kendra Wilson, and Jazzmyne Smith all of Taylorsville; her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Wilson and Savannah Wilson of Anchorage, AK; her father, Darrell Kay of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Ezeakiel Wilson of Anchorage, AK, Zachariah Wilson of Taylorsville, and Zephaniah Wilson of Anchorage, AK; and her brother, Dustin Kay of Taylorsville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Tommy Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Taylorsville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Bell, Josh Hills, Jay Hart, Cody Pinion, and Dustin Kay, and John Hamilton.
