Della Teague

Mrs. Della Faye Teague, 69, of Cartersville passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born May 31, 1939 in Maryville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Marion Boyd and the late Geraldine Smith Boyd. Mrs. Teague loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo and scratch-off tickets. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Junior Boyd; and her sister, Jena Mae Boyd.



Survivors include her husband of 53 years, David Teague; her son and daughter in law, Doug and Bambi Teague of Cartersville; her granddaughters, Brandi Teague, Britney Teague and Brooke Teague; her step-grandchildren, Cory Archer and Sarah Archer; her great-grandchildren, Shelbie Teague and Kirsten Teague; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Sue Barron; and her brothers, Jack Boyd, Bobby Boyd, Billy Boyd, and Jerry Don Boyd.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Larry Towe officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
