Delmar Strange

Mr. Delmar Strange, 59, of White, died Tuesday, December 08, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 1, 1956, he was the son of the late Delbert Strange and Willadene Faulkner Thomaston.

Mr. Strange retired from Chemical Products and was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a graduate of Gupton- Jones College and was an ordained minister. Delmar enjoyed talking and never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father, H.L. Thomaston.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Martha Ann Lowe Strange of White; his daughters, Samantha Womack and her significant other, Michael Swaim of Taylorsville, Della Strange of White and Shawn Strange of North Dakota; his sister, Valzora Thomaston of Clairfield, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Hannah Patterson, Savannah Strange, Haydan Womack, Sierrah Strange, Camden Womack, Madison Eldridge, Chloe Womack, Nakya Tucker, Xavier Geldreich, Xander Strange, Dakota Strange, Levi Black and Jaxon Strange; along with his uncle, Cotton Faulkner and wife, Alice of Corbin, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Larry Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in White United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
