Dennis Brown

Dennis Wayne Brown, 56, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born April 18, 1959 in Cartersville, he was a son of the late Paul E. Brown and the late Martha Jean Grogan Hyde. Dennis was of the Baptist Faith. He was a hardworking man with a good heart, and was a good dad. He loved old country music and enjoyed yard sales. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Tinsley Brown; and sons, Jamie Jordan and Shane Jordan.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Hovers and her husband Wayne of Acworth; brothers, Jeff Brown and Paul Brown, both of Cartersville; sisters, Synthia Vann and her husband Ronnie Thomason, and Connie Brown, all of Cartersville; grandchildren, Heather Hernandez, Haley Hovers, Corey Hightower, Madison Hovers, Katlyn Hovers, Alexis Hovers, Cole Jordan, Mason Jordan, Logan Jordan, Luke Jordan, and Savvy Jordan; great-grandchildren, Gabby Hernandez, Noel Hernandez, and Brooklynn Hightower; aunt, Lula Mae Blackmon; and great-aunt, Anna Sexton.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Terry Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Kenny Vann, Dewayne Vann, Hunter Vann, Boogie Williams, Tony Payne, and William Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bradley Brown, Wesley Brown, and Robert Bohannon.
