Dennis Hardin

Dennis Andy Hardin, 70, of Cartersville passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center. Born April 23, 1939 in Blue Ridge, he was the son of the late Jesse Hardin and the late Ethel Morris Hardin. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous extended family members.



Dennis was a member of The Church at Liberty Square and was owner operator of Hardin Plumbing. He was a family man who had a great sense of humor, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed playing golf and gardening.



Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Geraldine Hardin; his sons, Ricky Hardin of New Jersey, Danny Hardin of Woodstock, Terry Hardin, and Mark Hardin, both of Cartersville; his daughters, Teresa Davis and Rhonda Green, both of Cartersville; his father-in-law, Henry Garrett of Acworth; fourteen grandchildren; his sisters, Dovie Paulk, Dolly Turner, and Dorothy Bennett, all of Cartersville; his brothers, Dewey Hardin of Adairsville and Daniel Hardin of Cartersville.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at The Church at Liberty Square with Dr. Joe Edwards and Rev. Howard Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Davis, Trevor Aiken, Tony Skeen, Brian Garrett, Dwayne Hardin, and Justin Sanford.



The family will receive friends from 2 � 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
