Dennis Sanford

Dennis Lamar Sanford, 52, passed away on September 7, 2024. He was born on April 11, 1972 to JT and Dorothy Sanford. His father JT Sanford precedes him in death.

Dennis was an avid outdoorsman. He spent most of his time hunting, riding ATVs, and practicing bushcraft. He enjoyed moonshining and going to the mountains.

Survivors include his kids, Josh Sanford (Sydney), Dallas Sanford (Lynnsey), and Brylie Sanford; mother, Dorothy Sanford; sisters Deborah Craig, Sherri Crisp (Roger), Karen Jacobs (Sammy), and Stacy Sanford; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Preacher Ricky Sanford. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Houston Shuler, Shawn Sanford, David Sanford, Tommy Stouffer, Josh Crisp, and Justin Crisp. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Micheal Crisp.
