Dewey Beck

Mr. Dewey G. Beck, 72, of Cartersville, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center. He was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, December 17, 1938 and was the son of the late Doc Gilbert Beck and the late Carrie Thames Beck. Preceding him in death along with his parents are several brothers and sisters.



Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Gaddis Beck; his children, James and Nancy Beck, Thomas and Jackie Beck, Lisa and Joseph Armstrong and Vanessa and Corey Becker; his grandchildren, Travis and Jennifer Moates, Nicole Beck, April Beck, Marrissa Armstrong, Michele Armstrong, Joseph Armstrong, Jr., Sean and Evelyn Capsan, Christine Dutton, John Braden, Charles Manning, Josh Manning and Myranda Manning; his great-grandchildren, Ty Moates, Linden Moates, Brenna Capsan, Sarah Capsan, Katie Capsan, Gaia Dutton and Phoenix Dutton; his brothers, Gilbert, Grant and Michael Beck; his sisters, Alma Gray and Jewell Brewer.



A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Bob Gillett officiating.



The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday for two hours prior to the service.
