Diane Wright

Mrs. Diane Wright, 65, of Hiram, formerly of Cartersville, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Eagle Health and Rehab in Statesboro. Born in Fulton County on November 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Joe Causey and the late Maybelle Hames Causey.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Wright; and a brother, James Causey. Mrs. Wright was a loving, compassionate and witty person. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was co-owner of Cartersville Sample Company and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her children, Sandy Freeman of Dallas, Melissa Moody of Hiram, Roger Wright of Lakewood, Colorado, Vicki Moss of White and Tamara Muccia of Pacifica, California; her siblings, Susan Jane Shuler of Jasper, Barbara Grindstaff of Hiram, Vera Allen of Canton, Bobby Joe Causey of Dallas and Johnny Mac Causey of Jasper; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2013 in the Georgia National Cemetery withThe Reverend Ronnie Cline officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. The family will meet at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, Egleston Hospital or The Salvation Army in Mrs. Wright's memory.
