Dollie Poole

Mrs. Dollie Poole, 65, of Cartersville died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Marietta on September 25, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Horace Fortner and the late Georgia Romans Fortner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mallary Dean Poole.

Dollie was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was known for her outgoing and friendly personality. She always had a smile on her face and never had a problem making friends. Dollie had been employed as a dispatcher for Bartow Cab.

Survivors include her son, Howard Poole; her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Ricky Beach; her sons and daughter-in-law, Harold Poole, Larry Poole, Mark and Tammy Poole, and Lewis Poole; numerous grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a great-grandchild on the way.

A private service will be held at a later date.
