Dominick Aira, Jr.

Mr. Dominick M. Aira, Jr. 73, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Bisbee, Arizona, January 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominick M. Aira, Sr. Preceding him in death along with his parents is his wife, Deanna Lepage Aira.



Mr. Aira was of the Catholic faith. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a great family man. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.



Survivors include his son Richard Lepage of Kendall, Florida; his daughters, Christine Overcash of Euharlee, Georgia and Loree Riedell of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Georgia National Cemetery with Chaplain Larry Russell officiating along with full military graveside rites.
