Donald Ballew

Mr. Donald "Don" Ballew, 61, of Cartersville, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born February 11, 1952 in Chatsworth, Georgia, he was the son of the late Paul Ballew and the late Ernestine "Tennie" Langford Ballew.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Edward "Eddie" Ballew. Don was a graduate of Georgia Tech and was employed for many years with Robert Bosch Automotive, formerly Morse Automotive, where he traveled to China and Mexico over thirty times. He was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing and photography.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Ballew of Cartersville; his sister-in-law, Debbie Ballew of Hoschton, GA; Elizabeth and husband, Lee Butler of Seattle, WA; nephew, Brian and wife, Libby Ballew and their children of Dacula, GA; niece, Christy and husband, Bill Gabbert and their children of Suwanee, GA; and a number of cousins and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens in Chatsworth. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon on Saturday until the funeral hour.
