Donna B Armer

Donna Armer, born August 10, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Carl and Mildred Baker, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Donna shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Archie D. Armer. Together, they built a loving family and a lifetime of memories.

She is survived by her husband, Archie; her children, Carl M. Armer, Christopher D. Armer, and Tia E. Wilkes; her sister, Janet Denny; and her brother, Carl Baker, Jr. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger E. Armer, and her parents.

Donna was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Zachary S. Armer, Jadda E. Parton, Christopher D. Armer, Jr., Johnathon P. Wilkes, Coby M. Armer, Nathanial G. Armer, and Mattison J. Huffschmidt. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Donna dedicated 60 years of her life to nursing. Caring for others was not simply a career for her—it was a calling. Her compassion and dedication touched countless lives throughout the years.

Her faith was an important part of her life. She was an active member of New Covenant Methodist Church and enjoyed being part of her ladies' group and church family. Donna was also an avid reader and longtime book club member, enjoying both good books and the friendships that came with them.

Above all, Donna will be remembered for her love of family, her caring spirit, her faith, and the many lives she touched throughout her life and career. Her legacy will live on through the family she loved so dearly and the many people who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Store in downtown Taylorsville. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and remembering a life well lived.
