Mrs. Donna Marie Barnette, 50, of Cartersville, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta.
Born April 28, 1963 in Rome, she was a daughter of Bobby Jack Fowler, Sr. and Ruby Wynell McGaskey Fowler. Donna was a loving wife, daughter, and sister, and she loved the mountains.
Survivors include her husband of over 30 years, Gary L. Barnette; mother, Wynell Fowler of Cartersville; father, Jack Fowler of Rome; sister, Martha Hunter of Calhoun; brothers, Bobby Fowler of Cedartown, and Derek Fowler of Robertsdale, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Ronnie Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
