Donna Fowler

Mrs. Donna Marie Fowler, 64, of Adairsville, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born February 6, 1949 and a native of Bartow County, Donna was the daughter of the late Lawrence Landrum Jones and the Late Carrie May King Jones.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Woodrow "Rick" Fowler. Donna was a loving and caring mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to read and traveling to Florida. Donna was self-employed as a hairdresser after a successful real estate career. She was a real estate broker for many years and was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table with Coldwell Banker and a member of the Bartow County Relators' Association.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Tommy Martin of Cartersville; her sisters, Martha Brewer of Gaylesville, Alabama and Judy Thomason of Armuchee; her brothers, Lawrence "Bud" Landrum, Jr. of Adairsville and Mike Jones of Adairsville; a loving sister-in-law, Lisa Jones; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home.
