Donna Copeland Harper, 64, of Euharlee passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta due to injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Born December 9, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. Green and the late Betty Frances Kirk Green. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mike Copeland.
Donna had been employed for twenty-one years with Shaw Industries before her retirement. She enjoyed yard sales and traveling. She even enjoyed combining the two with a week long trip on the world�s longest yard sale route. Donna and her family enjoyed taking cruises together and spending time in the fall in a chalet in the mountains. She also enjoyed listening to country music, especially to Willie Nelson.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Harper Jr.; her daughters, Tami Fearing and Michelle Gibson; her step-children, Tim Harper and Tina and Tab Hazelwood; her grandchildren, Steven Fearing, Sarah Fearing, Justin Gibson, Hannah Gibson, and Aidan Goodwin; her brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Gladys Green; her sister, Tina Howell; her niece, Mandy Mossburg; and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 � 5 p.m. and from 7 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
