Mrs. Donna Lynn Stringfield, 47, of Cartersville, died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at her residence.
Born in Floyd County on February 8, 1967, she was the daughter of Don Shinall and Linda Joyce Atkoczaitis Shinall. She was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and niece. Donna enjoyed flower gardening. She was a protector of God's Green Earth. She always picked up litter along her traveled paths. Donna fought a courageous battle with Breast Cancer for the last sixteen months! She is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Don Shinall; grandparents, Felton and Lillian Shinall, Joseph Atkoczaitis, Jack and Frances Moore.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-nine years Tony Stringfield; daughter, Tabatha Wright (Tim); son, Tyler Stringfield (Blair); grandchildren, Blaine Jernigan, Hayden Wright, Cameron Wright, Cylan Stringfield; brothers, Jody Shinall (Cissy), Tony Shinall (Daisy); aunts, Trena Bell, Irene Hufstetler (Larry); several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5th at Gatewood Park.
