Donni Lauren Taylor

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donni Lauren Taylor, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left this world on Saturday, August 1st, 2026. She was born on Friday, November 15th, 1985, in Marietta, Georgia, and was currently residing in Cartersville, GA at the time of her passing.

Lauren is survived by her devoted husband, Cody Taylor; her cherished children, Benjamin Zimmermann (Jozie), Ashlyn Taylor, and Jasper Taylor; and her precious granddaughter, Lorelei Zimmermann. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Hilary Ray (Joshua Stephens) and Vanessa Ray-Miscally (Matthew); her nephew Jaylen Ray; and her caring mother-in-law, Chassity Taylor. Lauren is preceded in death by her parents, Donnie and Tina Ray, and her brother, David Klinger.

Lauren was a dedicated bus driver whose love for her job went beyond just transportation. She treated every child she transported with the same love and kindness as her own. A woman of many interests, Lauren was known for her firecracker personality, beautiful soul, and a smile that could light up any room. She had a passion for reading and was an avid player of Call of Duty, which she enjoyed in her leisure time. Her family was her world, and spending time with them was her greatest joy. Her caring nature and vibrant spirit made her the best friend anyone could ever have.

Funeral services to celebrate Lauren's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation preceding the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the same day.

Pallbearers carrying her to her final resting place will include Cody Taylor, Joshua Stephens, Hilary Ray, and Tyrone Goodman. Serving as honorary pallbearers are her children, Benjamin Zimmermann, Ashlyn Taylor, and Jasper Taylor.

Lauren's life will be honored and remembered through the services organized by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Donni Lauren Taylor will be forever missed and always in our hearts. Her legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will continue to inspire all who knew her.
