Donnie Barnette

Mrs. Donna Barnette, 63, of Cartersville passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
Born on October 3, 1956 in Tyler, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Buck Redding and Estelle Hudgins Redding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Sorrell; her sister, Glenda Broch; and her brothers, Bobby Redding, Danny Redding and Edward Redding.

Survivors include her husband, James Barnette; her sons Kevin Barnette (Courtney), Mark Redding (Melissa); her sisters, Jennetta Cox, Annetta Horton, Verla Smith (JR); her brother, Charles Redding; her grandchildren, Makala Redding, Matthew Redding, Jackson Barnette, Alex Chappuis, Peyton Dorn, Caitlin Barnette, Peyton Waldrop, Kesslyn Barnette, Kendall Barnette; her great grandchild, Mason Travis; and several nieces and nephews, and her loving dog Bear.

Gravesides services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend J.R. smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Due to Covid-19 social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Barnette, Mark Redding, Matt Abernathy, Jay Gill, Sammy Amos, Brandon Martin, and Tommy Gill.
