Mr. Donnis B. Griffin, 68, passed peacefully on February 21, 2013 in Cartersville, Georgia. He was born March 22, 1944, in Pavo, Georgia, the son of the late Kenneth Lee Elmer Griffin and the late Leila W. Hambrick.
He served in the U.S. Air Force stateside during the Vietnam Conflict. Donnis married Lillian Carlyle, and worked for Southern Bell for 40 years.
Donnis is survived by his sons, Michael and Patrick; his daughter, Donna; and his sister, Melissa Kleitz; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
A private service of remembrance will be held with close family attending.
