Dora Forsyth

Dora Vivian Lee Forsyth, 87, of Kingston passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Born in Cartersville, Georgia on April 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Homer Lee and the late Henrietta Cox Lee. Dora is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Forsyth and eight brothers and sisters.
Being a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Dora loved singing with her husband Charles. Dora was enthusiastic about going to yard sales where she loved finding jewelry. In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing and doing upholstery work.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Forsyth (Gaile), Randy Forsyth (Rena), and Tracy Forsyth (Annie); nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Burial will follow after the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. There will not be a procession to the cemetery following our visitation.
