Mrs. Dorene Guyton Patterson, 62, of Cartersville passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at her daughter�s residence under the care of the Amedisys Hospice Team. Born in Bartow County on November 6, 1949, she was the daughter of Bernice Stone Guyton and the late Frank Guyton. She is preceded in death by her father and a son, Victor Nichols.
She is survived by her children, Tina Massey and husband, Keith, Jason Nichols and Kenneth Patterson and wife, Lilie; her grandchildren, Michael Massey and Whitney Spradley; her great-grandchild, Preston Jacob Massey; and her mother Bernice Guyton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Josh James and Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
