Dorothy Dover

Dorothy Ann Dover, 70, of Taylorsville, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Floyd Medical Center.

Born on January 6, 1950, she was the daughter of Robert Hufstetler and the late Ruby Waits Hufstetler.

Dorothy loved to sew, it was her favorite past time. She loved her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Dillard H. Dover; her daughter and son in law, Sandy and Brian Groce; her son, Eric Dover; her grandson and his wife, Logan and Darcie Groce; her great-grandchildren, Lilly and Charlie Groce; her daddy, Robert Hufstetler; sisters, Jean Sanford, Frances Shoemaker; brothers, Johnny Hufstetler, Carl Lee Hufstetler; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, with Reverend Ear; Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19, social distancing guidelines will be practiced.

Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Dover, Darrell Dover, Todd Sanford, Jamie Shoemaker, Jason Shoemaker, Chace Gulledge.
