Dorothy Ann Garmon, 71, of Cartersville passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Redmond Park Regional Medical Center in Rome. Born January 13, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Johnny Franklin Trammell, and the late Hattie Elizabeth Randoulf Franklin. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Allen Moore; her daughter, Karen Sue Moore; and her brothers, Thomas �Bud� Jasper Trammell, and John H. Trammell.
Dorothy was employed as a machine operator for First Brands. She was a member of The Bread of Life Christian Center. Dorothy was known to be a good hearted and caring woman. She was a wonderful mother, and a hard worker. Dorothy was strong in her Christian faith and loved her family very much.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Bill Smart of Sebring, Florida, and Sharon and Norman Farmer of Adairsville; her sister, Mary Pearl Trammell of Cartersville; her sister-in-law, Margaret Trammell of Cartersville; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Bread of Life Christian Center with the Reverend Max Maybern officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in Wofford�s Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. on Sunday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
