Mrs. Dorothy Eileen Grubbs, 87, of Acworth, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Golden Living Centers in Marietta.
Born in Buffalo, New York on December 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Andrew F. Dobmeir and the late Margaret Davis Dobmeir. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Woodson Grubbs.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Jo Ellen Grubbs of Acworth; her daughter, Janell Grubbs of Marietta; two grandchildren, Barbie Bruce of Acworth and Charles Doughman of Cartersville; eight great-grandchildren; and one adopted daughter, Laura Musarra.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 9, 2012at 11:00 a.m. in Providence Cemetery.
