Dorothy Roberts, age 99, sadly passed away on August 30, 2023, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia, just shy of her 100
th
birthday.
Dorothy was born in Georgetown, Guyana on September 5, 1923, to her late father and mother Mr. & Mrs. Parkinson. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Hilda King.
She is survived by her children, George Roberts (Hermine), Florence Canterbury (Harry), Fred Roberts (Hermine), Ronald Roberts, Eric Roberts, and Cecil Roberts (Roxanne); as well as numerous siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.
Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 in Cartersville, Georgia.
