Dorothy Womack

Ms. Dorothy Lee Womack, age 68, of 132 David Road, Rome, GA, died Sunday morning, August 8, 2004, in a local hospital. A native of Rome and Floyd County, Ms. Womack was born on July, 27, 1936, the daughter of the late Doyal Lee and Lucille Kerr Womack. She had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County all of her life and was a homemaker. Ms. Womack attended the Silver Creek Church of God. She loved shopping, antiquing, and spending time with her family. She is remembered as a loving, independent, and caring lady. Ms. Womack was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Ivey Womack. Ms. Womack is survived by a brother, Houston Alvin Womack of Rome, GA; a nephew, Paul Womack of Rome; two nieces and nephews- in- law, Robin and Gary Lecroy of Rome, and Relina and Phil Epstein of Lindale, GA; a great niece and nephew, Haley Epstein and Zack Sarge.Funeral services for Ms. Womack will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Elgin Williams and Rev. Dennis L. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hope Cemetery.Ms. Womack will lie in-state at the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends this (Monday) evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. At other hours they will be at the residence.Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday by 1:30 p.m. and include Paul Womack, Gary Lecroy, Jimmy Jackson, Earl Knowles, Joe Highfield and Mac Edge.Please join Ms. Dorothy Lee Womack's family in honoring her life by visiting
