Mr. Douglas Lee McArthur, age 67, of Rome, GA, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Summit Health & Rehab.
Mr. McArthur was born in Rome, GA, on October 14, 1942, the son of the late Lee B. McArthur and Jessie Silvers McArthur. He was a graduate of South West Miami High School. Mr. McArthur was a member of the Shorter Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Elaine McArthur of Rome, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila M. and Winfred Jones of Rome, GA. Two nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Mr. McArthur�s name.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
