Edgar Marcus, Jr.

Edgar Adam Marcus, Jr. 61, of Taylorsville passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta. Born November 30, 1949 in Greensboro, Georgia he was the son of the late Edgar Adam Marcus, Sr. and the late Mary Connell Marcus. Junior was a former member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church and loved to fish.



Survivors include his daughter, Carrie Marcus McDaniel; his granddaughter, Cheyanna Rayne McClure; his sister and brother-in-law, Sybil and Larry Payne of Cartersville; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Faye Marcus of Dalton; several nieces and nephews; and his former spouse, Ann Simpson Marcus.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Joe Ringwalt and Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rowland Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
