Edna Collum, 72, of 103 Shadow Lane, Cartersville died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at her residence. Born September 20, 1935 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Thomas Bennett and Edna Mary Lou Smith Bennett. Edna was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church. She loved her family and was a great cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Lester Lee Collum; her brothers, Clifford, Howard, Albert, Elmer, Edward, and Clarence Bennett; and her sisters, Dorothy Stephens and Cornelia Smith.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Retha Collum of Cartersville and Terry and Sue Collum of Rockmart; her grandchildren, Tammy and Greg Gibson of Cartersville, David and Heather Collum of Cartersville, and Shea and Neal Ricks of Carrolton; her great-grandchildren, Melanie, Chelsie, Maci, and Kolby Gibson and Taylor and Casen Ricks; her sisters, Evelyn Noland of Cartersville, Thelma Fuller of Calhoun, and Betty Kelly of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Tracy Collum and Rev. Johnny Sisson officiating. Burial will in Woffords Crossroads Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
