Edward Roper "Joe" Lanier, 75, of Summerville, Ga passed away on June 19, 2021 at his home.
Born on August 28, 1945, he was the son of the late Walter H. Lanier and Annie B. Lanier of Cartersville.
He is survived by a brother, William Parker Lanier ( Jackie) of Cartersville and two sisters, Gwen Lanier Kulesa (Hank) of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Ruth Lanier Hays (Sidney) of Anderson, South Carolina.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville , Ga. at a later date.
