Elaine Davis

Elaine Davis, 60, of Cartersville passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Born on January 9, 1961 in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late James "Bud" Davis and the late Louise Collum Davis. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel O'Tinger and Lynn Davis; and her brothers, Larry Davis, Bobby Davis, and Wesley Davis.

Elaine was a talented and accomplished cook. She never complained and always had a positive, uplifting attitude. She was kindhearted, generous, and nice to others. Elaine leaves a legacy as an amazing mother, aunt, sister, and daughter; she will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her son, Nick Davis; her daughter, Kassie Thurman; her special daughter, Bella Clardy; her sisters, Tina Davis, Amy Davis, Cathy Davis; her brother, Chuck Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal, with Reverend Michael Abernathy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. -2:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Thursday prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Davis, Bud Davis, Bobby Davis, Jack Adams, Gage Mayfield, Waylon Allen.
