Elaine Gravley

Elaine Jessie Gravley, 66, of Acworth, passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Born January 20, 1947 in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late Alton Jessie Mills and the late Mary Lou Mathis Mills.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are her brothers, Herbert, William, Stanley and Larry Mills. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. Ms. Gravley was always thinking and helping others and enjoyed cooking before her health began to deteriorate. She was one of the nicest people you would ever meet and was a collector of porcelain dolls and teddy bears.
Survivors include her sons, Don Gravley of Woodstock, Randy Gravley and his wife Linda of Emerson and James Beavers of Acworth; her sister, Carolyn Cowart of Douglasville; her brother, Jack Mill of Marietta; special companion, Bob Landers of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Powder Springs with the Reverend Lael Corbett officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Sunday.
