Mrs. Elizabeth King Cribb, age 77, of 4959 Calhoun Road, Adairsville, GA, the Shannon Community, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004, in a local hospital.Mrs. Cribb was born in Cherokee County, AL, on May 29, 1927, daughter of the late L.D. and Fannie Bell Fuqua King. She graduated from Cherokee County High School. Mrs. Cribb had resided in Rome and Floyd County since 1944. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cribb worked in the spooling and Prep department of Burlington Mills until retiring in 1989. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and visiting her family. Mrs. Cribb will be remembered as a kind, loving, giving, hard-working lady. She was preceded in death by a brother, Troy King and a son, David Charles Cribb.Mrs. Cribb is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve Cribb of Adairsville, Michael and Wanda Cribb of Rome, GA; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Lamar Rice of Plainville, GA, two brothers and sisters-in-law, J.W. and Betty King of Rome, Charles and Mamie King of Salem, VA, and Ruby King of Tallassee, AL. Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Cribb will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Floyd Memory Gardens with Rev. Ed Priestaf officiating.Mrs. Cribb will remain at the Heritage Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends this (Friday) evening from 6 until 8 PM.
