Elizabeth Massaro

Mrs. Elizabeth Christine Perusek Massaro, age 87, of 21Williamsburg Drive, Rome, GA, died Monday, August 25, 2008, at her residence.



Mrs. Massaro was born in Forbes, CO, on January 27, 1921, the daughter of the late John Perusek and Annie Mrak Perusek. She retired as a nurse. In addition to her parents Mrs. Massaro was preceded in death by her first husband, John Zeilinger and her second husband, Elmer Thomas Massaro.



Survivors include her two daughters, Patricia Mackie of Bloomfield, NM and Linda Golden of Salida, CO, and three granddaughters, Elizabeth Akers of Rome, GA, Linda Bruckner of Grand Junction, CO, and Lorena Bruckner of Grand Junction, CO.



Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Grand Junction, CO. with Father Farley officiating. Interment will follow at Palisade Cemetery in CO.
