Elizabeth Wyrick

Mrs. Elizabeth J. Wyrick, 69, of Cartersville passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center after a brief illness. Born January 3, 1940 in Jacksonville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Robert Septimus Jett, Sr. and the late Clairibel Brandon Jett. Elizabeth had served many years as a social worker for the state of Florida before becoming a homemaker, artist and antique dealer.



Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Charles Wyrick of Cartersville; her daughters, Jett Bocz and Rachel Wyrick, both of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel, Elijah and Elizabeth Bocz, all of Cartersville; her brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Jett, Jr. of Havana, Florida and Lloyd and Sally Jett of Quincy, Florida; and her nieces and nephews, Robert �Bob� Jett, III and his wife Debbie of Havana, Florida, Becky and Bernie de la Rionda of Jacksonville, Florida, Debbie and Tom Potter of Havana, Florida, Brandon and Maria Jett of Havana, Florida, and Bill Jett of Tallahassee, Florida.



Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 in the chapel of East Hill Baptist Church of Tallahassee, Florida. Local services will be conducted on Monday, January 19, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the family receiving friends from 6 � 7 p.m. and memorial services at 7:00 p.m.
