Ellen Truelock

Mrs. Ellen Margaret Green Martin Truelock, age 71, of Cartersville, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Floyd Medical Center.
Born in Cartersville on October 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Earl Green and Margaret Bell Green. Mrs. Truelock was a member of Church at Liberty Square. She loved to go to the mountains and the casinos. She had an outgoing personality and loved to care for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alton Green; and her first husband, L.J. Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Quinton Truelock; her sons, Tommy Martin (Lynn), Lonny Martin (Candice); her daughter, Tammy Hazelwood (Randall); her grandchildren, Lynsey Ruff (Luke), Josh Martin, Katie Martin, Jesse Martin, Justin Hazelwood (April), Jordan Hazelwood, Jaclyn Hazelwood, Nathan Martin; her great-grandchild, Landon Ruff; step-daughter, Tonda Gillentine; step-grandchildren, Alecia Mathis and Shelby Alred; along with several nieces, nephews, and very special close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Rodney Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Raccoon Creek Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Hazelwood, Jordan Hazelwood, Josh Martin, Jesse Martin, Al Green, and Cody Chupp.
